Just wrapped things up with a customer who reached out to us wondering if there was a way to change their continuous fan speed. We just wrapped up a thorough maintenance job for a client who had contacted us with concerns about their air conditioning units. The primary problem seemed to be caused by dirty indoor fan coil that accumulated debris. We cleaned the washable filter for three air handlers to ensure efficiency. We had reason to pay a visit to one of our long-standing customers today as their HVAC system refused to start. After a thorough inspection, the diagnosis showed a grounded compressor, necessitating its replacement. It was also apparent that a new capacitor and filter dryer were required to get the system running adequately again. We did not see it fit to leave the system uncharged after such service, and so we gave it a proper recharge. The local homeowner reached out to us about their HVAC unit; it was sitting on an aging platform and dealing with nasty water leaks. We suggested a proper fix: start by disconnecting supply and return plenums, temporarily unhook the package unit, and set up a sturdy metal platform. Once that’s done, pop the unit back on the platform and reattach all the ductwork and plenums. We also advised resealing the exposed ductwork that's suffered under the relentless sun and heavy rain – the old sealant couldn't cut it any longer. Today, we've just put the finishing touches on the new HVAC unit! Making homes comfortable, safe, and efficient is our thing! #HVACRepair #HomeImprovement
